Working principle of buoy level gauge

When the liquid level in the tank is at a certain position, the buoy weight W, the weight W1 of the heavy hammer pointer and the buoyancy F of the buoy immersed in the liquid level, the friction force F and the four forces in the whole system are in equilibrium (I. e. W-F-W1-f = 0).

When the liquid level rises, because the wire hanging buoy is floated along the guide wire, the liquid buoyancy F increases, so that the original balance system to the four forces out of balance. Under the action of gravity, the weight pointer slides down, and at the same time continuously indicates the rising height of the liquid level on the scale. Similarly, it can be explained that when the liquid level drops, the buoyancy F of the buoy decreases, so that the steel wire and the liquid level drop synchronously. Since the weight of the buoy is greater than the weight of the heavy hammer pointer, the pointer moves upward, also when the liquid level continuously drops and changes. The heavy hammer pointer can continuously indicate the drop of the liquid level, so as to achieve the purpose of accurate measurement of liquid level changes.

1. Zero adjustment of buoy level gauge

When the buoy level gauge is installed, there should be unmeasured medium in the tank. When the buoy is at the bottom of the tank. The red arrow indication on the pointer part of the weight should point to the "zero" value at the top of the scale measurement range, otherwise the wire length should be adjusted.

2. Range adjustment of buoy level gauge

On the basis of adjusting the zero position of the buoy level gauge, pull the buoy to the top of the window or the maximum measurement point. The red arrow on the pointer part of the weight shall point at the bottom of the scale, I .e. at the maximum measuring point of the scale.
