Overview

Working principle

The working principle of the static mixer is to let the fluid flow in the pipeline to impact various types of plate components, increase the velocity gradient of the fluid laminar movement or form turbulent flow. In laminar flow, it is "splitting-position moving-reconvergence". In addition to the above three cases, the fluid will also generate violent vortices in the cross-sectional direction, and a strong shear force acts on the fluid to further divide and mix the fluid, and finally mix to form the required emulsion. The so-called "static" mixer means that there are no moving parts in the pipeline, only static components.

The mixing process of static mixer is carried out by a series of mixing units of different specifications installed in hollow pipes. Due to the action of the mixing unit, the fluid rotates left-handed and sometimes right-handed, constantly changing the direction of the flow mixer, not only pushing the central fluid to the periphery, but also pushing the peripheral fluid to the center, resulting in good radial mixing effect.
